I need Ride suggestions for Laughlin area

Hi, Im taking the wife to Laughlin, it will be her first time on the bike for more than a hour or so, we will be staying at the Avi just outside of Laughlin, what are some good routes to ride in the area, no more than a 250-300 mile loop, is route 66 worth riding? if so whats a good loop? any suggestions will be appreciated.

To ride the 66 from the CA AZ border is nice, plan to spend some time in Oatman to see the Burrows and check out the shops. On weekends they do old west reenactment shoot outs cool. Stop in Seligman for lunch letseat and back to Laughlin. Total miles about 130. Road past Oatman is a twisty mountain road with "tar snakes" (that is the road cracks are sealed with tar).
