I'll going up to Reno before the group...most likly leave on Tue.

Great riding in the Gold country...in fact this year, I'm thinking that an over nighter between the dates could be a way to get further out and explore more of it.

Each year some of the riders have gone with to explore more of this Tahoe/Gold Country, although this year due to the 105th, not sure if the regulars who have ridden with in the past will even be attending Reno/Tahoe. In the past the group comes up on Friday...some on Thu...Last year, Friday was a big ride day Highway 89 to 49 to Nevada City...this year, looking to explore more of this area which has brought up the idea of spending one night out there on the road.

Leave LA Tue. the 23rd or even perhaps the 22nd, don't know yet.

Keep posting more! Cool Global

610,

Did you get the information regarding the hotel to post here? I would like to make my reservations in the next week or so. Don't really care where I stay, as long as the cost per night isn't some ridiculous amount (above 150/n).

Try the Peppermill or Sparks Nugget. Just outside the noise but still in the mix. Security is tight, no need to worry about your bike. The food is great, the rooms upscale, entertainment is all you could ask for. thumb up
