Praying in the spirit is the communion (relationship, fellowship ) we share with our LORD. Scripture teaches us in
JOHN 4:24 GOD is spirit and those that worship HIM must worship in spirit and truth

Prayer is the POWER and GLORY of GOD unleashed upon our lives according to HIS WILL AND KNOWLEDGE of our circumstances. In the book of
PSALMS 65:2 O THOU who dost hear prayer, to THEE all men come. And in
PROVERBS 15:8 But the prayer of the upright is HIS delight.

Yet! What is prayer to the MIGHTY CREATOR? We are taught in REVELATION 5:8 and PSALMS 141:2 that our prayers are an incense ( a sweet aroma ) to our LORD.

The FATHER who hears them, delights in them, and is stimulated by the aroma of our prayers gives us HIS WORD IN
1 JOHN 5:14-15 14. And this is the confidence which we have before HIM, that, if we ask anything according to HIS will, HE hears us. 15. And if we know that HE hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests which we have asked of HIM.
